As Happy Wanderers is right on the beach, there are no roads or railway lines to cross for children to play. What better way to spend a family holiday? The children are kept busy and involved and literally only look for Dad or Mum when they are hungry! We offer a full entertainment programme during weekends and holidays offering a wide variety of activities for all ages!
SUPERETTE
On our premises, we have a well stocked superette where you will find a variety of goods: from bread, meat, fresh milk, ice creams, Slush Puppies, wood, charcoal to fishing reels & tackle, kites, toys, tinned foods, cleaning agents, camping items, magazines, souvenirs and so on. We encourage you to use our Superette, and save yourself the hassle of leaving the Resort, having to climb into a hot car and stand in queues at the local supermarkets.
SWIMMING POOLS
With both a shallow kiddies pool and a regular size pool, situated overlooking the ocean and right next to our restaurant, the swimming pool area is a family-friendly area to enjoy.
ACTIVITIES
On our premises, we a jungle gym, a swing set and giant chess to keep young and old entertained. In the high-season, you’ll find New Year’s Eve dances, bring ‘n braais, mini flea markets, Father Christmas’ party, potjie competitions, beach bonfires, live entertainment, sandcastle building competitions – the list is endless!
BEACH WHEELCHAIR
We have various paraplegic-friendly items such as walkers and a beach wheelchair available for our mobility-impaired guests.
CHILD-FRIENDLY
We offer babysitting by appointment. We also have cots for guests to use upon request.
